Narciso Rodriguez For Her Perfume

Narciso Rodriguez makes and incredibly complex and unique perfume in For Her. At the very first spritz and spray, I did not like this though, it was too much, too heady and I worried about a headache coming on. The ladies at Nordrstrom really really wanted me to try it though, which I did a bit reluctantly. I have to say that this perfume isn't what it seems at first blush. You have to try it on, and faintly smell it, like on your wrist or top of hand. Wait 3 minutes, then smell it again. Then wait for one half hour then smell it again. This scent mixes with your own chemistry in many neat ways! I read many online reviews about it, and woman after woman said the same. It definitely will get people's attention.

I now like it much more than at first, now that it has seemed to settle into my skin. Those of you that know perfumes and pay attention to these things know what I mean. Its very sexy almost, a wonderful musk base if you like that. Its so much more than a musk though. I will say that many people shared in their reviews, that they always get compliments on this. I will say to Narciso Rodriguez, that this is one work of art. Its like a palette of just the right notes to create the final piece of art. You definitely must try this one, and not judge it immediately for its complexity.

You will find honey flower, radiant amber, and tactile woods being expressed in this eau de toilette or parfum. The actual notes are Honey flower, Musk, Orange Blossom, Amberlyn, Osmanthus, Vanilla, Vetiver, and Tactile Musk and Woods.

The perfume comes in a beautiful pink bottle, while the eau de toilette comes in an amazing dark black bottle like nothing else I have ever seen. Very sultry perfume, but then its not over the top. A definite must try.

Hanae Mori Eau De Toilette (Paris)

Hanae Mori is growing in popularity in the Midwest, and I tried some and I really enjoy it for the most part. Its a little heavy or musky but not in a bad way, with floral notes that I like. My husband likes it also. I find it a classy fragrance all around.

To read about more perfumes or colognes, and eau de toilettes, please see my other "pages" in this blog, located at the top of the blog. Check back for more later on, as I will be adding to this ongoing. Thank you for stopping by! Ocean

Perfumes and Fragrance in general

I love a pretty perfume. All of us have had fragrance be a part of our life from day one. This blog is a place for me to keep track of what I have tried and loved in the past, as well as keep track of new perfumes and colognes I try. This will be updated fairly often, as I share what I find.

In the past, I have loved everything from White Shoulders Perfume, to some of Estee Lauder's perfumes, to Avon's little old fashioned rose perfumes. Over time your tastes become more refined, and you settle into perhaps a predictable routine.

Overall, I don't like an overowering, "here I come" perfume that announces your arrival, if you know what I mean lol. That said, I do want a perfume with staying power, that doesn't just disappear a while after you put it on. Being a person that likes perfume, I have learned a lot over the years, by observing, and and asking questions.

Some perfumes already covered are in the "particular perfumes page". Here are the names of some there. Green Tea Eau Parfumee Vaporisateur, Burberry London, Chance Eau Fraiche, Miss Dior, J'adore Golden Goddess.
